New York City

I am getting quite excited about my upcoming trip to the ‘Big Apple’.  It seems quite sad that I haven’t been to either L.A. or NYC, but I’ve been to Europe.  Especially being that NYC is only 10 hours by car, and only 2 hours by flight.

Well that changes in just a couple of weeks.   Getting to see Yankee Stadium is priority number one, however I must stick true to my nature of secretly being ‘tourist’ and hit up the major spots of NYC.  Maybe I’m the only one left here on travelpunk, who knows.  My friend Nathan, who is picking me up in Philly and heading to the Yankee’s game has insisted on calling me a Turon, or a tourist/moron.  That has to be my favorite word of the year so far.

Next item up for bid, is finding a place to stay.  I’m content with spending more money, to be closer to things.  Being that I only have three days, time is outweighing the cost of things.  Plus, this may be my only summer trip so my budget can allow for more lavish spendings.
