I am deciding on going to India from 3 months of backpacking. I want to start in Delhi and move from there. Please advise the cheapest way of doing things as I am selling up my car just to do this trip.

hey there...i'm in india. have done most of the south and need to head up north soon. i'm not sure where to go. i'm not really feeling rajistan and thinking about skipping it. is that totally wrong?! for some reason i'm compelled to go to calcutta. i'm not sure why...most people i've run into say "why the heck would you go there"
advice?
