Films that inspire you to travel

For me it was actually the documentary film Long Way Round about an overland expidition on motorcycles around the world with Ewan McGregor.

And of corse Eurotrip didnt help eather...

Toby I think that movie is Turistas Go Home...or something like that.

The Beach, of course. The movie gets life on a commune pretty right. Motorcycle Diaries, Blood Diamond (was beautiful), Hotel Rwanda, any Indy movie (Am I the only girl that still swoons at Ford?), Eurotrip (of course), Lost in Translation, Babel, and quite a few more.

After seeing Clint Eastwood in Play Misty For Me, I've always wanted dto drive down the Big Sur in California. And I just did it in Sept, great trip, from San Fran down to Santa Barbara and the Death Valley.

^ I've seen both and really enjoyed before sunset as well, possibly a little more than before sunrise, possibly because the second is set in Paris though... :)

I don't think I have replied to this. Well-Before Sunrise makes me really want to go to Vienna and I will one day as well as Salzburg. I think its also how I developed my love for train travel as well.
As odd as this sounds Indiana Jones inspires me to travel especially to India and the Middle East.
Pretty much any movie with travel inspires me-I onced watched a cooking show where the guys went to Morrocco and ever since then its been on my hit list. A chef at work described me as a "country slag" impling that I will pretty much go anywhere-and he is right.

Well I thought I had already replied to this one like a year ago LOL.... guess not!

Hostel
The Beach
Touristas
An American In Paris
Darjeeling Limited (suprised no one else got this one)
Before Sunrise
Brokedown Palace

Ya know.... The usual!
