I know 1500 is not much a post milestone I mean its not like 1000 or 2000 but it kinda is to me and I was thinking that for my 1500th post I wanted to write it in this board.
My post? Basically this if you are or no someone who is someone who wants to travel to a far away land and if it is something you have dreamed of then do it because really life is too short.
I remember my experience in China. I hated it when I was there because the school I worked for was terrible and I was in a cold city in the north but I look back now and despite all of that the strongest memory I have is standing in Beijing airport thinking how cool I was for doing this. I think its because no matter what no one can take that away from me.
People, I am not advocating going some place like a war zone or being unprepared but seriously if theres somewhere you wanna go-go. Save up and do it.
This post is kinda rambling and I am sorry for that as it may be hard to follow but I can remember feeling so nervous when I hit the road solo for the first time, when I slept in sleeper trains and dorms alone for the first time and it wound up being a life altering experience.
Life is like a river ever moving forward-and if you don't then the waters much like life will be stagnant.
So save some cash pick a place tell the post man to redirect mail pack a bag and go.
