OK so this starts out sad but it IS postive I promise.
Basically I lost my job yesterday and had no one, my best friend was with my Uncle in Toronto who told me the night before to come to and even offered to buy me a ticket to see KISS at the Ampitheater.
So I had the option sit in my apartment and cry or get a bus to TO...I think we all know what I did.
KISS were amazing but thats not what this is about either this is about me missing the bus back to Guelph. I had planned my trip down from North York to Union but realised I was running late I even took a cab but to no avail.
Angry, I decided to take a walk as I had nothing better to do. Walking, I remembered how much I love the city of Toronto I walked a long and outside a Church saw some people playing chess. As I watched a guy stood up and asked me to play-now I am very, very bad at chess which made a guy laughing and claiming that I was a Grand Master from Quebec all the more funny. I lost and shook hands-it was fun though and we laughed. Then I walked around the theater district and through passed City Hall and found my way to the Eaton Center. I talked to some 9/11 truth protesters I am not saying I agree with what they had to say but I love talking politics so this was fun too. Then I hit the bus and I am back in Guelph now. I guess what I am saying is sometimes from the greatest inconvience can come the best times.
