Is a baseball capto borth american in Europe?

Not sure about baseball caps, they are ok i guess in England, just take em off indoors, one thing I would warn you about is the Ok hand sign, fine in Elngland but in other parts of Europe it means the same as me putting my middle finger up at you. I.e it's offensive,

can anyone else add to this, or should this be a new topic

Zleap - that's if you have the palm facing in, back of the hand toward the intended target...

In Greece, I believe, this doesn't mean "OK" but "asshole"

We probably should have a thread for cultural disconnects like that. Never offer food with your left hand in Morocco, I know that. For that matter, never offer your left hand at all...

But back to baseball caps, my husband recently returned from Romania, where he was given a nice ball cap with commemorating this years Romanian Air Show. Earlier this year, we were given baseball caps commemorating the annual German "wandertag" (walking day/week), and last year, he bought a cap from the Vilnius tourism office, so obviously, baseball caps are popular here too. The logo you choose might identify you, though. And I still don't recall seeing a lot of people wearing ball caps around town.
