Its funny actually because I work with people who are proffesional and looked upon highly at the workplace yet still enjoy smoking. They go home after the kids are asleep for the night and smoke one to relax a little. One or two of them enjoy this with their wives as well in the same situation.

Some of them never do it outside of the house and some of them do it socially with some other friends, family etc either over their houses or say camping or something.

they say 1 in 5 americans partake of the cannibas. I would imagine that number is close to the same amount who smoke tobacco....
 
see, I'm a social smoker only. mainly b/c I refuse to spend money on any drug as I spend WAY too much on my addiction to caffeine. I enjoy it though, but I do not partake often enough to say that "yes. I'm a smoker" (of anything, really).
 
I know more people who smoke weed than smoke tobacco, come to think of it.

I grew up with hippie parents so I was fairly well educated on the subject from an early age. Funny thing is, I never smoked when I was a kid (in spite of (or maybe because) I was around it quite a bit) and as an adult have only partaken a few random times here and there. It's never been my thing, but plenty of friends partake. I think its perfectly harmless and no big deal. I like Sudz' analogy to a beer connoisseur.

Pot being illegal is just one more nonsense statement on morality that our government feels compelled to make.:unsure:

That has suprised me over the years. i figured if people smoke weed they would maybe be faster to pickup ciggs. I know way more people who smoke weed that don't smoke ciggs than vise versa.

Actually a lot of the weed smokers detest cigg smoking when we go out.

if i had the option i would smoke again....the mj that is.

As it stands though nicotine is the only thing I can legally get away with at the airlines so a cig a day on the drive home doesn't bother me so much in the way of being uber detrimental to my health. At least the dip faze didn't last long. No way was I going to let a bad habit ruin my pearly whites!

At least your only doing the one a day anyhow. I mean, that's not the worst thing in the world.

honestly, if i werent so paranoid about getting "in trouble" or whatever for smoking, id smoke a lot more. as it is now, i only smoke with good friends now and then...just legalize the shit already!

I am one of those people, but I'll tell ya if smoking weed was allowed in clubs and bars and everywhere was hotboxed I would certainly NOT be happy about that either.

Same here. I wouldn't mind if it was the same way as they do with smokers now, make them just go outside and smoke, then come back in after.

the problem with having the smokers go outside to smoke, is that the sidewalks become smokey, and crowded.
I was in nyc when the law changed and it was ridiculous, not only would the sidewalks be FULL of people surrounded by a cloud of smoke but they were all irritated smokers, made because they had to go outside when all they wanted to do was drink and smoke in a bar.
 
So I'm a total dumbass.... I took the poll without reading the "fine print".... for some reason I thought we were talking about tobacco, not weed. Duh:doh:
 
Anyone watch TheJakes driving while high video? You can tell the stoned guy has the drys when he is talking in the car.

Your post made absolutely no sense to me until I remembered your OTHER driving video posted somewhere else.
